KEYSTONE RESORT PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE U.S. MILITARY WITH THE $169 LIBERTY PASS FOR UNLIMITED SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING.

Keystone, Colo. – For the fifth consecutive year, Keystone Resort is offering a special season pass for active U.S. military personnel and their family members (including Reserve and National Guard, and also active duty foreign military members in Colorado) for unlimited skiing and snowboarding during the 2007-2008 season. The Liberty Pass is $169 for adults, $99 for children and provides unlimited skiing and riding at Keystone and Arapahoe Basin from the date of purchase through Keystone’s closing date (April 2008). All military must present their military-issued identification cards for their pass and for their immediate family member passes.

Keystone partnered with the military in November 2001 to create Rocky Mountain Blue, a program to offer affordable year-round resort vacations at Keystone Resort, a world-class to the military community. Since then, Keystone has offered special pricing for season passes, lodging and resort activities.

The Liberty Pass is on sale at the Keystone Resort season pass office in River Run Village and at several military bases and sites in the state (Buckley AFB, Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, F.E. Warren AFB, Fort Carson and the Air Force Academy).

Active U.S. military personnel (active duty and reserve military personnel, as well as active National Guard and Reserve, and foreign active duty military in Colorado) must present their military-issued identification card in person to purchase their pass for themselves and for their immediate family members. The children’s Liberty Pass is available for children 12 and under of active U.S. military personnel.

How to purchase the Liberty Pass

  • Active duty military, Reserve, National Guard, Coast Guard and foreign military in Colorado personnel on active duty need to present their military-issued identification cards at the Keystone Resort season pass office beginning Nov. 10 to purchase the Liberty Pass .
  • Immediate family members of active or reserve military personnel are also eligible for this program. Dependent family I.D.s are required. Children 12 and under are eligible for a $99 Liberty Pass.
  • The pass is good for unlimited skiing and snowboarding at Keystone for the 2007-2008 season, which is November, 2007 - April, 2008.
  • Available for purchase at Keystone Season Pass Office. Keystone’s season pass office in River Run Village will be open in November, every weekday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

What is the Liberty Pass?

What does the Liberty Pass look like?
If purchased at the military bases or via VRI reservations the guest receives a voucher to redeem at CSG Co Springs, REI Fort Collins and Co Springs, or the Keystone Pass office. 

The pass is also for sale at REI Fort Collins and Colorado Springs, CSG Colorado Springs, select military special events and the Keystone Pass Office (after 11/10/07).

The pass is loaded onto Photo permanent media and has a fall through DTL that will give them the SkE card rate when skiing at V/BC/B.  When going to V/BC/B if they have a CC attached they can go directly to the lift and be charged the SkE rate or go the ticket window to purchase a ticket at the SkE rate.

When is it available?
It is available now at all Front Range ticket offices, until April, 2008. After November 10, 2007 it is available at the Keystone Pass Office.

The Adult and Children’s Liberty pass is good for unlimited skiing and snowboarding at Keystone and Arapahoe Basin from the date of purchase through Keystone’s closing date, tentatively set for April 15, 2008.
           
How can I get one?
Must be purchased in person. Active U.S. military personnel must present valid photo ID indicating active status for their pass. Immediate family members will also be required to present valid photo ID.

For sale at REI Fort Collins and Colorado Springs, Colorado Ski and Golf Colorado Springs and select military special events.
