A modern day treasure hunt! Pinpoint hidden “treasures” along Keystone’s hiking and biking trails by entering pre-determined latitude and longitude waypoints into a Garmin eTrex Global Positioning System (GPS). Visit the Keystone Mountain Concierge in River Run or the Adventure Center in Lakeside Village to check out a GPS receiver and get your instructions. Take a guided walk along the Snake River to the Ski Tip Lodge and back to River Run. Learn about the Ski Tip and the miners, trappers & Indians who used to call this land home. Shuttle bus available from Ski Tip for those wanting to take only half the tour. Tour is 3 miles round-trip. Ages 7 & older.

Join Keystone Science School staff for an educational walk in wild high altitude Colorado. Experience our diverse wilderness ecosystems and learn about the relationships between wildflowers, trees & wildlife. See some of the most beautiful areas in Summit County. Meet at the Keystone Science School parking lot (Soda Ridge Road past the Keystone Stables) -- to take the Keystone EASE bus, call ext. 4200.
