ATV TOURS/RENTALS
Experience the wonders of Colorado’s highest backcountry and have an incredible time getting there! Rent a top of the line Polaris ATV, and we will provide you with a safe, fun retreat that will be sure to turn your vacation into an outdoor adventure. Whether you want to explore the Colorado Rockies on your own or enjoy an experienced guided tour, you are sure to have a fantastic time. The Continental Divide is nestled in the mountains over 10,200 feet and includes freshwater creeks, stocked fishing ponds (poles complimentary). Helmets and rain gear will be provided.
BARN DANCE & BBQ
Nothing but all-American fun at the Keystone Stables! This ain’t no banquet function. This is an authentic Barn Dance and BBQ. Upon arrival at the stables, there is live Country Western entertainment, horseshoes, “steer roping,” and a great barbecue dinner to satisfy hungry guests. Complimentary shuttles available to the Stables. Minimum of 100 adults. No Maximum.
Covered seating is available for groups of 350 or less at no charge. Covered seating needs that are greater than 350 will be charged at 50% to the group
•Summit Country Dance Club - this local dance club will get everyone up dancing and having a great time. They will teach everything from the basic two-step to line dancing. A great addition to make your evening a memorable one.
•Roller Roper Horses - try your hand at ropin’! Guests will have the opportunity to sit on a horse, wind up their rope, kick their heels and rope a calf. It’s quite the site!
•Authentic Stagecoach Rides - Take a ride and experience what it would have been like to travel by stagecoach back in the 1800's. Keystone has one stagecoach and one wagon available.
•Golf Pitching Contest - Try your skills at pitching golf balls into a water tank from 70 yards. Four spots available at once.
BICYCLING & BOATING ON KEYSTONE LAKE
One hour of either bicycling or boating free with Summer Passport.
Enjoy the great bike paths that travel throughout the county. Peddle around Lake Dillon or just tool around Keystone Village. No reservations are required. Rentals (Hybrid and single suspension bikes) are available at the Keystone Adventure Center. Full suspension bikes for use on Dercum Mountain are available only at Mountain Bike Headquarters in River Run.
Cruise around on the Keystone Village Lake and share it with our feathery friends. Reservations are not required. Rentals are available at the Keystone Adventure Center.
DINNER WAGON RIDE
Enjoy the fun of a scenic wagon ride with a hearty cowboy dinner. Upon arrival at the homestead, you will be greeted by our friendly Keystone wranglers and treated to a dinner as big as the great outdoors. Dinner consists of barbecue chicken and ribs, corn on the cob, baked beans, cornbread and apple pie. Soda, coffee, beer and wine are also included. Enjoy horseshoes and the beauty of the Soda Creek Valley. There is something for everyone, so don’t forget your camera. Rides are every Thursday through Monday.
FLY FISHING
Enjoy a guided full or half-day fishing tour to nearby waters. Catch and release Brown, Brook, Cut-throat, and Rainbow trout. All excursions include transportation, equipment and coaching. Fishing licenses ($9.00) are required for everyone 15 and older, and are available at the Summit Guide Shop in Keystone Village. Meet at the Keystone Adventure Center 15 minutes prior to reservation time.
FLY FISHING CLINIC

Learn the basics of fly fishing. Meet at Summit Guide Shop in the Lakeside Village for an hour long clinic. Equipment provided.
FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE TOUR
Climb aboard an open-air Hummer for a scenic ride with views of the Continental Divide. Expert drivers will share stories of the area. Don’t forget your camera! This is a great way to experience the high country. Warm jackets are recommended. A minimum of 2 people per trip.
GEORGETOWN LOOP RAILROAD
Ride across the 95 foot high reconstructed, 300 foot-long steel Devil’s Gate High Bridge. You will travel through alpine scenery of pines and firs, twisting and turning in 14 sharp curves before doubling back on the line which forms the famous Georgetown Loop. For an additional cost you have the option of extending your adventure by adding the walking tour of the historic Lebanon Mine and Mill. The mine is a constant 44 degrees, so you need a coat and good walking shoes.
HISTORICAL BUS TOUR

Visit historical sites and learn the history of Keystone and the surrounding area. Participants will meet at the Adventure Center. From there, the bus will take you to the Keystone Ranch, Keystone Stables, Ski Tip Lodge and the town of Montezuma. Guests will learn the history of the back Ranch, Max and Edna Dercum and the mining history of the area.
LUNCH WAGON RIDE
Ride in a hay-free wagon out to the original homestead cabins at Keystone. Lunch is served outside, except during rain or snow storms, when it is served under a tent. The activity goes on regardless of weather.
MOUNTAIN BIKE CLINIC

If its mountain biking you like, Keystone Resort will bring you the premier mountain bike instructional and guide experience. This beginner clinic is designed to help maximize your riding pleasure and improve your riding ability. A minimum of three people is required for a clinic.
SCENIC WAGON RIDE

Learn the history of Keystone and visit the site of the first Keystone settlers. The whole gang will enjoy a scenic wagon ride through the Soda Creek Valley on wagons pulled by Belgian Draft horses.

TRAIL RIDES
Travel as the pioneers did! Take a guided trail ride through the Arapaho National Forest. Tours are led by experienced Keystone Wranglers, who will delight you on the rich history of the area. Children must be a minimum of 8 years of age and able to control their own horse. Meet at the Keystone Stables. Long pants required, no open toed or open backed shoes allowed, jacket advised. A maximum of 24 people per ride. |

RAFTING
Spend the day with the experienced guides from Arkansas Valley Adventures rafting through Colorado’s beautiful canyons and river valleys. Whether you try the whitewater of Brown’s Canyon or a High Country journey through the scenery of the upper Colorado River, Keystone has a raft trip for you. These are the trips to be experienced by all! Children must be a minimum of 5 years of age or 50 lbs (may change based on water levels). A minimum of 10 people per trip. All trip times are approximate and will vary due to water levels. Life jackets, paddles, splash jackets and helmets are included, as well as transportation. Wet suits and booties can be rented. Recommended apparel (NO COTTON): clothing that dries easily – swimsuits, nylon shorts, polypropylene shirts, windbreakers. Guests may bring a change of clothing that may be left on the bus and will be available when they get off the river.
Upper Colorado River Float Trip (Class I & II)
This section of the Colorado is located near Kremmling and is a gentle flowing river that is fun for all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the river winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. If you want to get your heart racing, leap from Jump Rock or Little Jump Rock; perfect for all levels of bravery! There may even be time for a stop at some historical cabins along the river. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and
enjoy the day. Duckies (small inflatable kayaks) are available for smaller groups. Lunch is served riverside.
The Summit (Class III)
Full day trips are eight hours with lunch included. Express trips are three to four hours with a light snack included. The trip may be on one of three rivers depending on what is running best at the time. Groups may request a certain river if they have a preference.
Brown’s Canyon on the Arkansas River (South of Leadville)
Raft the nation’s favorite stretch of river, the famous Brown’s Canyon. Supreme rafting for all ages and experience levels, this trip delivers a mix of exhilarating whitewater and majestic quality of a granite canyon. Rouse your spirit in rapids like Zoom Flume, Pinball, Cydel’s Suckhole and many others. This river runs May to August 15.
Clear Creek (Idaho Springs)
Clear Creek is located in an old mining valley in the Colorado Rockies. The average gradient of this river is 67 feet per mile. It’s a steep, technical river that everyone will enjoy. This Class III river is filled with spills and thrills and is the perfect way to start or finish a perfect day! Dress to get wet and have fun! This river runs from May to the end of July or beginning of August.
Eagle River (Vail and Beaver Creek)
Located near Vail, the western slope begins with lodge pole pines, giving way to the sagebrush and junipers of the high desert. This river offers a variety of paddling for all levels of boating. The upper sections are more technical with more continuous whitewater; the lower sections open up becoming more forgiving. This river runs from May to the end of July.
Advanced (Class IV)
Difficult, complex channels with many significant obstacles to be avoided. Precise maneuvering required. Good fitness level recommended. Minimum age is 15. Could be on one of two rivers. Half day trips are four hours.
Numbers on the Arkansas River (South of Leadville)
This stretch of the river holds some of the most continuous whitewater you can find. River runs from May to August 15.
Clear Creek (Idaho Springs)
Rapids are packed in a tight, narrow, fast flowing waterway. River runs May through the end of July or beginning of August.
Advanced Plus (Class IV – V)
Extremely difficult. Long continuous rapids often following each other without interruption. Minimum age is 15. Full day trips are eight hours with lunch included. Pine Creek (Class V) has the biggest hole on the Arkansas River. It is followed by the Numbers (Class IV).

GOLF

• The Keystone Ranch Golf Course is located in a mountain valley rimmed by towering peaks. The 7,090 yard, par-72 course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and retains the rustic flavor of the area when it was first settled in 1870.
• The River Course at Elk Run - Award-winning designers Hurdzan and Fry created this course so as not to disturb local vegetation and wildlife. The front nine follows the Snake River and the back winds through the mountain on this par-71, 6,886 yard course.
With two golf courses, Keystone now offers a total of 36 holes. That’s 36 opportunities to see if a golf ball really does go farther at 9,300 feet above sea level. Tournaments, lessons, clinics, club storage, and club rental are also available. Complimentary shuttle service available to both golf courses.

Indulge yourself with a relaxing massage by a professional therapist from Healthspring Massage. All therapists are experienced in a variety of massage styles such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuro-Muscular, Sports Therapy, Shiatsu, Acupressure and Reflexology. The spa also offers facials and body treatments. The massage rooms are located at the Fitness Center in the Keystone Lodge. Please arrive ten minutes prior to appointment time.
